An Indiana County man died after he lost control of his car and hit a parked van in Brush Valley Township, police said.

Investigators said Mark Martin, 30, of Robinson was headed south on Route 259 and failed to negotiate a curve on the wet road.

He spun and hit a parked van, police said.

The impact pushed the van into the front of a home, police said.

No one was in the van or the home.

Two people in Martin's car were hurt.

One was a child.

Their injuries are not believed to be serious.
