H1N1 Suspected In Another Girl's Death At Children's Hospital

Swine flu is suspected in the death of a Westmoreland County girl at Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh.

The news of 4-year-old Mariah Conrad's death comes the same day that a funeral was held for a 2-month-old who died at Children's Hospital over the weekend.

Mariah, of Crabtree, died on Tuesday at the hospital, officials said.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday for Caryssa Joann Phillips of Washington County, who died most likely from the swine flu over the weekend, health officials said.

Channel 11 News talked to parents at Children's Hospital Tuesday night. Some are concerned about their children's exposure to the H1N1 virus.

"I heard that the floor he's on, in the critical care units, that there's two or three other kids that have the H1N1 virus. He is on the same floor, but they are being sealed off completely from the other kids," said Todd Pierce.

Four people from Allegheny County have died of the virus. Three people from Fayette County died from the swine flu, as well as one from Butler.

Twenty-nine people have died of the swine flu statewide.
