A woman was in court Wednesday for a preliminary hearing to hear the charges against her.

Ashley Stumpf, 20, was allegedly under the influence of heroin when her vehicle collided with a truck, killing two passengers in September 2008.

In court on Wednesday, Stumpf, a Latrobe resident, was charged with 13 different counts, including two counts of vehicular homicide.

Police charged Stumpf for killing David Roble, 21, and James Henderson, 28.

Brian Konesky, 39, who was driving the truck and an unidentified 11-year-old passenger survived the crash.

“We’re just really upset that it’s even taken this long to come to trial,” said Janet Smith, the victim’s aunt. “And I just hope she learns her lesson so nobody else has to go through this.”

Stumpf will be held for trial with no bail.
