GREENE CO., Pa. -- A Greene County woman was killed when a dump truck slammed into her pickup truck Wednesday morning.

The accident happened on Brad Hill Church Road in Dunkard Township.

Police say the driver of the dump truck lost control of his vehicle on a curve, crossed into the other lane and hit a pickup driven by 47-year-old Darlene Phillips of Mt. Morris.

Garrett J. Phillips, 10, also of Mount Morris was trapped in the pickup and had to be freed by rescue crews. He suffered moderate injuries.

Terry R. Hare, 43, of Waynesburg was driving the dump truck. He suffered minor injuries in the crash.
