North Huntingdon police released surveillance photos Thursday of an armed man they said robbed a PNC bank on Thursday.

Police described the suspect as a middle-aged white male wearing blue sweatpants, hiking-type boots and a beige jacket with what appeared to be an Olympic logo.

"Did have a handgun, what appeared to be a handgun in his right hand, which he used and did point at the two bank tellers and there were two patrons in there at the same time," said Sgt. Jeffrey Bouldin.

The man ran out the back of the bank with an undetermined amount of cash, police said.

The man then ran up stairs that are located in the back of the parking lot that goes into a housing plan locted in Irwin Borough.

Anyone with information is asked to contact North Huntingdon police at 724-863-8800.
