Victim Identified In Lawrenceville House Fire

PITTSBURGH -- Tuesday, the medical examiner identified the victim of a deadly weekend fire in Lawrenceville.The medical examiner said 53-year-old Steven Cortez died in the blaze Saturday morning.The fire started at about 4:20 a.m. along Poe Way.Firefighters spent the next two-and-a-half hours bringing the blaze under control.The fire spread to an adjacent house, which was also destroyed.Investigators said the fire was caused by a space heater.
