Sarah Palin Attracts Crowd In South Strabane

Hundreds of people lined up as early as Friday night for the chance to meet former Vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin at Sam's Club in South Strabane Township.

One-thousand wrist bands were handed out for people to get an autograph in their copies of Palin's new book, "Going Rogue."

Some people traveled from as far away as Virginia for the chance to have a few moments with Palin.

"We really like what she stood for, how she talks, common sense," said Mary Long of Virginia.

Also in the crowd, a woman who graduated from the same high school as Palin.

"She represents what a lot of women need to be like, independent, intelligent," said Alice Caputo.

Palin did not make any public comments during the trip.
