Ambridge Installs 22 Cameras To Keep Track Of Junior High

AMBRIDGE, Pa. -- From the classroom to school buses, a Beaver County school district said it will be keeping an eye on its junior high students.Ambridge Junior High will be beefing up security, according to school officials.Using grant money, the district will instill 22 cameras at the school and 12 more on buses.School district officials said they are familiar with using security cameras and they will use them to capture things going on all over the school.In the past, school surveillance video has helped law enforcement officials.Ambridge police said they solved a crime with school video which helped them identify an alleged thief in the halls during a football event.
