PITTSBURGH -- With Black Friday almost here, more deals continue to be unearthed.

Announced Tuesday, Best Buy is offering an HP laptop for $197 and 10 percent off appliances.At Walmart, pick up a Blu Ray player for $78.Apple confirmed it will be having a Black Friday sale, although there has been no word on what will be on sale. An Apple ad said there will be some iPod, iPhone and Mac deals.Shoppers at Target will find men’s jeans, khakis or dress pants for just $8.While doorbuster deals sound great, getting them might be tough.The fine print on the $197 laptop at Best Buy said minimum five per store.“Keep in mind the bad news for consumers, because retailers are aware it will be a tough holiday season,” said Duquesne University marketing professor Audrey Guskey. “Inventories are low because they don’t want to get stuck with a lot of merchandise.”Stores may limit how many of on-sale items you can buy.Also, most won’t offer rainchecks, meaning once the item is gone at the sale price, you’re out of luck.Shoppers should also watch out for clones -- items that may look like the item in the sale ad but has different features and model numbers.“As shoppers, we need to be savvy. We need to be smart,” said Guskey. “Do your homework.”Return policies are expected to be much stricter this year. Review each store’s policy and keep all receipts.
