A Charleroi house was purposely set ablaze for the second time in six months, firefighters said.

Firefighters said the fire was started at about 11 p.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of Crest Avenue.

A coffee container with gasoline was found at the house, crews said. The container is being held as evidence.

"We're going to hold that for evidence at the police station and when the fire marshal gets here in the morning, we'll investigate it and hopefully maybe try to get some prints off it," said Charleroi Fire Chief Robert Whiten.

One firefighter was treated for a hand injury he suffered when he broke through the back door.
