Teenager Killed In Butler County Crash

CHERRY TWP., Pa. -- State Police in Butler said a teenager from Kennerdell was killed in an early morning crash on Route 308 Sunday.Troopers said Ryan Malachina, 19, was travelling north when his car left the right-hand side of the road for unknown reasons.Malachina attempted to correct his path, but overcompensated and crashed into oncoming traffic.Two men in a Dodge Ram were injured in the crash, which caused severe damage to both vehicles.They were transported to a hospital by medical helicopter.Malachina was pronounced dead on the scene at 2:14 a.m.
