Teenager Killed In Butler County Crash

State Police in Butler said a teenager from Kennerdell was killed in an early morning crash on Route 308 Sunday.

Troopers said Ryan Malachina, 19, was travelling north when his car left the right-hand side of the road for unknown reasons.

Malachina attempted to correct his path, but overcompensated and crashed into oncoming traffic.

Two men in a Dodge Ram were injured in the crash, which caused severe damage to both vehicles.

They were transported to a hospital by medical helicopter.

Malachina was pronounced dead on the scene at 2:14 a.m.
