Two Major Accidents In Two Days Occur At Mile Marker 33

A Maryland woman died Sunday following three-car accident along I-79 in Washington County.

The cars crashed on the same stretch of road as a major accident that occurred Saturday.

One woman was killed in Sunday's incident. State Police identified her as Cheryl Biddle, 64, of Silver Springs, MD.

Police said two cars became involved in a fender bender accident at about 1 p.m.

As the occupants exited their vehicles, a red Suburban crested the hill and hit both vehicles stopped in the roadway.

Biddle was standing in the road and was also struck by the SUV. She was taken to a hospital by ambulance where she was pronounced dead.

In Saturday's crash on I-79, three cars were involved and five people were injured, including three children.
