WILKINSBURG, Pa. -- The medical examiner has identified a man whose body was found Monday morning in Wilkinsburg.

The victim is Kristopher Campbell, 29, of Penn Hills.

Police said Campbell was shot.

His body was found along Princeton Boulevard.

Neighbors were surprised by the discovery.

"I moved up here to get away from all type of mania. Princeton Boulevard is not a bad area, you know. It's probably one of the better streets in Wilkinsburg. So yeah, it bothers me a lot," said a neighbor who didn't want to be identified.

Investigators believed Campbell's body was dumped in the area.

An autopsy is set for Tuesday.
