FARMINGTON, Pa. -- Police are investigating after someone shot a 15-point whitetail buck at the Woodlands Zoo in Farmington earlier this month.

Police said the shooting happened sometime between Dec. 11 and Dec. 14. at the zoo, which is located along National Pike.

The deer, police said, was secured behind a 15-foot fence.

Police are searching for a black Hummer that was seen in the area during the time of the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
