CANONSBURG, Pa. -- A local man allegedly kidnapped his ex-girlfriend, and now he's facing charges.

Christopher Ulanich, 41, is accused of taking Jennifer Horner, 30, from the parking lot of a Canonsburg drugstore Tuesday.

Horner's friend followed them, and Ulanich allegedly tried to hit him with a baseball bat.

Later that night, Horner called police and said she was safe with her family.

Ulanich is being held in the Washington County Jail on $25,000 bond.

A preliminary hearing is set for next week.
