Man Gets Jail For IUP Cell Phone Restroom Peeping

A 31-year-old man has been sentenced to six to 23 months in jail for recording men on his cell phone while they were using public restrooms at Walmart stores and a college campus in Indiana, Indiana County.

State police said Christopher Marsh, of Blairsville, recorded 42 times from September to November 2008 at stores in Unity Township, Westmoreland County, and Burrell Township, Indiana County.

Police said he also recorded men at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Police arrested Marsh after clerks in one store noticed he spent more than 3 1/2 hours in one store's restroom.

During the investigation last year, authorities said some of the victims were students and others were store employees.

Marsh will serve two years probation after his release from jail.
