PITTSBURGH -- Allegheny County detectives said a partially naked body of a white woman between the ages of 25 and 35 was found in a sewer drain Wednesday.

A man with a cable company traveling on Route 837 near the Elizabeth Bridge found the body.

The upper part of the woman's body was laying over the sewer drain on the side of the road, and the rest of the body was stuck in the drain.

Detectives think her body could have been there for more than a month and said they have an idea who the victim is.

But they said the woman's body is so badly decomposed they could not make out her facial features.

The coroner is conducting an autopsy to determine the woman's cause of death and her identity.
