DUNBAR, Pa. -- A Fayette County man is in jail on charges he tried to lure a 12-year-old boy into his car. However, he told Channel 11 that police have the wrong man.

The alleged incident happened last Thursday on Speers Hill in Dunbar.

Monday night, Charles Smith was arraigned on several charges, including attempted luring and attempted kidnapping. Smith said he didn't do it.

"Now here I am going to jail for something I didn't do. Whoever picked me out of the lineup, I hope they just look a little more into this because it definitely wasn't me," he said.

Smith faces a preliminary hearing next week.
