3 people hospitalized after shooting in Lincoln-Lemington; as many as 20 shots fired

PITTSBURGH — Three people were shot in Pittsburgh’s Lincoln-Lemington neighborhood Friday night, investigators told Channel 11 News.

The shooting was reported just before 10:30 p.m. in the 6400 block of Apple Avenue. %

Pittsburgh police spokeswoman Sonya Toler said Shot Spotter alerted officers to as many as 20 shots fired in the area.

“From Shot Spotter, we determined there were multiple shooters,” she said.

Investigators said the victims, two men and a woman, were all alert and talking when they were taken to a hospital in stable condition.

No additional details were immediately available.
