Duck Liver Menu Item Upsets Animal Rights Group

PITTSBURGH -- An Oakland restaurant continues to be targeted for a delicacy on its menu.Someone spray painted graffiti on the outside of Lucca restaurant in Oakland Sunday.
Friday, some threw a rock at the restaurant's window and shattered it.
Restaurant owners believe an animal rights group is responsible because duck liver is on its menu.Sunday, demonstrators held a quiet protest outside the restaurant.
The group says it's not responsible for the vandalism.Protester Peter McKoski said, "We're not doing anything illegal. We wouldn't be out here showing our faces if we were."Restaurant owner Joe Jordan said, "This is totally ridiculous. God love them they have the right to be out there 24 hours a day. They don't have the right to destroy my property."Animal rights groups have asked the restaurant to take the dish off the menu.
Owners said they don't plan to do so.
