PITTSBURGH -- Police are searching for a man who allegedly tried to lure a young child in Overbrook.

It happened along Library Road Thursday night.

A 7-year-old boy said he was in his backyard when a man approached him and asked him if he wanted a new shirt.

The man threw a garbage bag containing a few shirts at him and took off.

The incident has neighbors shaken.

Neighbor Eileen Hughes said, "I'm concerned, I'm concerned for him. I've lived next to them for 15 years. I don't want anything to happen to him."

The child was not hurt.
