Portersville Classes Canceled Friday

PORTERSVILLE, Pa. -- A Portersville Christian School soccer player is dead after collapsing during a game.Shawn Slater, 18, of Prospect, died Monday after playing in the double overtime game.Slater was on the sidelines and told others he felt faint before collapsing.Doctors were unable to revive him at a hospital.Classes at Portersville Christian School have been canceled Friday so students can attend his funeral.
