Kach Reunites With Deli Owner

McKEESPORT, Pa. -- The main suspect in the 10-year abduction of a McKeesport girl was released from jail Tuesday afternoon.Thomas Hose is accused of the abduction of Tanya Kach.His attorney asked for a bail reduction but Hose's bond was raised to $10,000.Hose returned to his McKeesport home Tuesday afternoon. The same home where he allegedly kept Kash for 10 years.Hose was greeted at the front door by his father.Adult probation officers visited the home earlier in the day to set up the electronic monitoring system.Hose, who is charged with statutory sex assault, will have to stay away from Kach and is required to wear an electronic bracelet so authorities can keep track of him.

Hose was suspended from his job as a security guard at Cornell Middle School in McKeesport.He faces a preliminary hearing on April 6.On Tuesday, Kach returned to J.J.'s Deli in McKeesport to thank the owner, who she said gave her the courage to finally come forward after 10 years.Just last week Kach confided in store owner Joe Sparico that she had runaway from home with Hose who she said brainwashed her and held her captive for more than a decade.During the past year, she said, Hose began letting her go outside and she spent a lot time at the deli.A second suspect in the case is in the Allegheny County jail.Judy Sokol turned herself in to police Monday, three days after they issued a warrant for her arrest.She is facing many of the same charges as Hose.Police said she cut and dyed Kach's hair while she was a runaway and knew Kach and Hose were involved in an inappropriate relationship.Sokol's neighbors said that is not the Judy they know.Sokol's neighbor, Linda Simmen, said "I just have questions about it and I think there's more to the story than anybody knows ... She was always very polite, very courteous, she stayed to herself. I can't say anything bad about Judy."Sokol is charged as an accomplice on seven counts of sexual assault and child endangerment.She said she cut ties with Kach and Hose after Children and Youth Services contacted her about Kach's disappearance.McKeesport police said reports of misconduct complaints filed by parents of children attending Cornell Middle School are false.The false complaints were reported in a local newspaper.Police urge parents to call them if they have information regarding the abuse or harassment of any child.Watch Channel 11 News and refresh this page for updates on this story.
