They said someone should be held responsible.

Kach, 24, was allegedly held captive by Thomas Hose for 10 years, just blocks from her family home.

Attorney Lawrence Fisher is demanding immediate disclosure of all documents from McKeesport Area School District pertaining to the investigation of the disappearance of Kach, 10 years ago by Cornell Middle School officer Michael Elias.

At this point, the school district is not responding to his request.

But Fisher said the earlier investigation into her disappearance by Elais was what he called, "botched and inept."

Hose is facing an assortment of charges relating to the case.

Fisher is now going after the system that he says failed her, saying that Kach could have easily been found at Hose’s home had officials carefully considered the close relationship that Kach and Hose shared at school prior to her disappearance.

If the district doesn't release the information, Fisher said he may sue to obtain the documents.

Hose is now awaiting a trial at home on house arrest.

Channel 11 was told that Kach is said to be doing well and preparing to take her GED since she hasn't been in school since she was 14.
