FAYETTE COUNTY, Pa. -- A farmhand accused of killing a 12-year-old Fayette County girl has waived his formal arraignment.The district attorney's office said Jeffrey Martin would have likely entered a not guilty plea, despite an alleged confession.He is accused of strangling Gabrielle Bechen while he was working on a Greenboro farm in June.The girl's body was found in a shallow grave after a five-day search.Martin could face the death penalty if convicted.
