William Holmes, 18, is the suspected gunman in the attack on the five basketball players.

He's tried unsuccessfully to get bond and get out of jail.

A judge denied it.

Holmes faces a preliminary hearing next week.

His lawyer plans on petitioning the court again, hoping to get some kind of bail set for his client.

Brandon Baynes, of Penn Hills, is the other accused gunman.

The 18-year-old faces several charges including carrying a firearm without a license.

He's out of jail on a $250,000 bond.

Brittany Jones, a Duquesne University transfer student, also faces charges for helping the armed suspects get into the on-campus party.

She's charged with reckless endangerment; criminal conspiracy; and carrying a firearm without a license.

Duquesne has suspended the sophomore.
