ALLEGHENY COUNTY, Pa. -- There is just one day until the Allegheny County Council votes on a smoking ban.Council members are considering legislation to make all workplaces, including restaurants and bars, smoke-free.The sponsor of the proposed ordinance, Rich Fitzgerald, expects the measure will be approved.If that happens, it will have to be signed by Allegheny County chief executive Dan Onorato.
