Burglar takes shower, sits naked on couch

DENVER, Colo. — A man is accused of breaking into a Denver woman's apartment, using her shower and sitting on her couch naked while watching porn on her television. Luckily the woman's dogs helped her get out of this situation.

Hannah Jones says her dogs prevented a stranger's paws from getting too close. "I am honestly happy they woke up and cornered him so I didn't have to wake up to him in my bedroom."

She says a man broke into her apartment through her patio door. "I got up and checked to see what they were barking at and there was a dude cornered in the guest room. He said he needed to shower. I kind of froze and was just like ... you know, I just didn't know what to say." As he rinsed off, Jones ran out.

"Once the police came, they hopped the fence and he was naked on my couch with pornography on the computer and doing some other things," Jones told KDVR.

Jones says while the man didn't take anything, he stole her sense of security. "He had a ton of women's lingerie in his bag also so they had me check to make sure he didn't steal any of mine, which that in itself felt kind of a violating in a way."

While she's grateful for her guard dogs, she's now planning to bring in backup and get a security system.

Police say a man named Dewayne Jordan was taken into custody in connection to this incident. He is being held without bond. No word if Jordan has a lawyer.
