Missing Butler County man and son, 10, found safe in Slippery Rock

HARRISVILLE, Pa. — Pennsylvania State Police in Butler County said a man and his young son, who had not been seen for two days, were found safe Wednesday in the Slippery Rock Area.

Ronald Brain, 30, of Harrisville left his home with 10-year-old Grant Brain on Monday at about 9:30 p.m. The pair was headed to UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh. They never arrived at the hospital.

State police said the father and son were found safe and healthy and that no foul play was suspected in their disappearance.

No additional information was released.
