Updated:MUNHALL, Pa.,None - Shortly after helping the Steelers to a 27-0 win over the St. Louis Rams, Charlie Batch headed out to the streets of Munhall to play Santa.
Batch continued the season of giving by delivering Chirstmas presents to 25 families.
We caught up with some of those families who had no idea that Batch would be delivering gifts.
Today was all about football in the afternoon, but Santa Batch is all about the kids.
"I left the stadium and came straight here to deliver toys. It was one of those things we knew when we looked at the schedule and it doesn't matter. This is truely a blessing this holiday season," said Batch.
Batch said it's all about making a difference and it appears as if that is exactly what he did for these kids.
Batch, who grew up in nearby Homestead, knows how important it is to give back to the community.
He founded the Best of the Batch Foundation. Even on gameday, he still thinks about the children.
