China Moves Into Europe's Ratings Market

China's made its presence felt in many areas of business. Now it's got the ratings agencies in its sights. Chinese agency Dagong got the green light to operate in the EU in June. Its European base is in Milan, but it held a news conference in Frankfurt to explain how it differs from the "Big Three" who dominate globally - Fitch, Moody's and Standard & Poor's. Lorenzo Stanca is Deputy Chairman of Dagong Europe.
