Updated:ELLWOOD CITY, Pa.,None - An undercover drug sting has led to charges being filed against 12 suspects in Ellwood City.
On Tuesday, Pennsylvania State Police and other local departments identified what they believed were street-level drug dealers operating in and around Ellwood City.
"At the present time we, have numerous ongoing investigations targeting street-level, mid-level and top-tier drug dealers," Lawrence County District Attorney Joshua Lamancusa said. "This operation focused on street-level dealers in and around Ellwood City and constituters yet another step forward in our efforts to clean up our communities."
The operation took several months of planning and undercover investigations, officials said.
The charges filed against the 12 individuals include delivery, possession with intent, and conspiracy to deliver.
