PITTSBURGH —

Local country band, The Povertyneck Hillbillies, announced Friday that Pittsburgh Steelers champion quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will appear in the band's first video for their song "Mr. Right Now."

The song has enjoyed local success among fans throughout the Pittsburgh region, but will be released on a national level along with the new video later this month.

When asked to be a part of the video, ‘Big Ben’ said he decided to participate due to the band's Pittsburgh roots, and to the respect he had for their hard work and determination to succeed on a higher level.

The Povertyneck Hillbillies were named the official band of the Pittsburgh Steelers by the Rooneys earlier this year.

They are performing Friday night at the Chevy Amphitheater for their hometown CD release concert.
