Washington, Pa. Man Named 'Sexiest Guy Next Door'

Rueben Brock was named one of the Sexiest Guys Next Door by Perry Ellis.

Rueben, who lives in Washington, Pa., beat out thousands of entrants from around the country and was chosen by the men’s fashion brand because his classic looks and sex appeal represent the ideal “Perry Man.”

Perry Ellis turned to its fans on Facebook to decide which of the 12 sexy guys would take home the top prize.

Rueben received lots of votes but not enough to make him the winner.

David Herskovits, a resident of Cincinnati, was named Perry Ellis’ Sexiest Guy Next Door on July 22.

David will travel to Miami and model in the brand’s September fashion show, receive an editorial in Ocean Drive magazine as well as a weekend getaway with a guest, courtesy of Perry Ellis.

See & Be Seen: What kind of music are you listening to on your iPod? Rueben: I'm a big jazz buff so I listen to a lot of Miles Davis and Count Basie, but lately I've been listening to Maxwell and John Mayer.

See & Be Seen: What's your favorite local restaurant? Rueben: Pasta Too. It's an Italian place in the South Hills area. The Alfredo is amazing.

See & Be Seen: What is the key to being sexy? Rueben: Confidence. It doesn't matter what you look like. It's how you feel that attracts people to you.

See & Be Seen: What is one item in your wardrobe you can't live without? Rueben: My baseball cap. I've got an old dirty baseball cap that I've had since I was a kid. I used to wear it so much that it became famous among my family and friends. Its too dirty to wear now, but I can't get rid of it.

See & Be Seen: What's the most important thing you look for in a potential love interest? Rueben: I like intelligent girls, because a good conversation is almost better than sex. Long dark hair and a nice butt doesn't hurt either.

See & Be Seen: What's your idea of a perfect date? Rueben: A perfect date, for me, is a laid back dinner at a nice simple restaurant. Nothing too fancy. Then after dinner, we'd sit and talk over a cup of coffee or dessert. I'm a regular guy, so I like to keep things simple.

See & Be Seen: What's your favorite movie? Rueben: Pretty Woman. I'm a sucker for a sappy romance.

See & Be Seen: Favorite food? Rueben: I'm a steak and potatoes kind of guy.
