NEW CASTLE, Pa. — Flames early Saturday morning engulfed a home in New Castle where a woman lived with her six children, officials said.
The fire was reported about 3:30 a.m. at the home on Maryland Avenue. Intense flames destroyed the house and melted siding on a neighboring home.
No one was home when the fire broke out, officials said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
