Go inside Sidney Crosby's Nova Scotia home

PITTSBURGH — Channel 11 News and our news exchange partners at TribLIVE are giving you an inside look at what it's like to live as Sidney Crosby in Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia.

Trib Total Media Penguins reporter Jason Mackey visited Crosby's home recently and spent several days with the Penguins captain.

Crosby owns a home on the lake in Nova Scotia, where he enjoys fishing.

Mackey says the inside of the house is a step up from a typical mancave. He’s got the big screen TVs and even bubble hockey.

As far as the actual house goes, you might expect a superstar to own a large mansion. Mackey says Crosby’s house is very nice for sure, but it isn’t the type of giant house you might expect hockey’s biggest superstar to own.

“It’s very modest and it’s just like Sidney. I had a couple people up there tell me he’s not an extravagant person and that’s shown through his house and how he lives,” Mackey said. “He was driving around in a Chevy Tahoe with golf clubs in the back and hockey sticks. He’s just a regular guy. I spent a lot of time with him and we saw that.”

Trib Total Media and Jason Mackey are "At Home with Sidney Crosby" this Sunday in the Tribune-Review. You'll want to check it out!
