Target pulls clown masks from store shelves, online

Target has pulled clown masks off store shelves and online.

A spokesperson for the retailer said the decision was made because of the “creepy clown” scare that has been spreading across the country.

“Given the current environment, we have made the decision to remove a variety of clown masks from our assortment, both in stores and online,” spokesperson Joshua Thomas told WCCO Minneapolis.

People in several states, including Pennsylvania, have reported threats and pranks related to people wearing clown masks.
