Iceburgh, newborns host Penguins pep rally at Magee-Womens Hospital

PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Penguins mascot Iceburgh made a special appearance at Magee-Womens Hospital on Monday morning.

A rally was held in the hospital's lobby as employees greeted guests with towel-waving and ‘Let’s go Pens’ chants.

Following the pep rally, Iceburgh made his way to the nursery where he greeted newborn babies swaddled in gold rally towels.

Each newborn baby wore a "hat trick" - a hand-knitted black and gold cap, courtesy of Magee's Volunteer Knitters.
