The children were found Towson, Maryland by Baltimore County police officers, according to officials. They are said to be in good condition and are in the custody of Baltimore County Child Services.

A criminal investigation is ongoing.

Officials have canceled the Missing Endangered Person Advisory for the kids who were last seen at their Indiana Borough home at some point between late Thursday night and early Friday morning, according to Indiana Borough Police Department.

Gianna Smith, 15, is nonverbal and autistic. She stands 5 feet 6 inches and weighs 115 pounds. She has brown hair and green eyes.

Mitchell Smith, 12, stands 5 feet 1 inch and weighs 215 pounds. He has brown hair and eyes.

Police had believed they may be at special risk of harm. A police sergeant told Channel 11 News the children were living at a foster home, and authorities believed they had either left on their own or were taken by their biological mother.
