by: By: Jessica Fera, WPXI.com Updated:PITTSBURGH,None - The Lifetime Network is following a Penn Hills based dance company for a new docu-series called "Just Dance."
The series will showcase the Abby Lee Dance Company on its journey to a national competition this summer.
The company, made up of 6 to 13-year-old girls, participates in dance competitions throughout the country and the Lifetime crew will travel on the road with them as well.
A "Just Dance" producer told See & Be Seen the show will focus on both the hardworking young dancers and their mothers.
On Sunday, May 15, the public is invited to attend a free recital hosted by the company in Fox Chapel. The performances, along with the audience, will be filmed by the Lifetime crew and attendees will be asked to sign waivers.
If you'd like to attend, doors will open at 4 p.m. at The Hillman Center, located at 423 Fox Chapel Road.
Producers are looking for approximately 600 people to pack the theater for the recital.
