1 year after deaths, families seek answers in Wilkinsburg double slaying

WILKINSBURG, Pa. — Family and friends gathered Monday night to remember two young men who were shot and killed in Wilkinsburg last year.

Police said Roman Herring and Leron Brown were shot and killed on Hill Street February 11, 2012. Investigators said the men were sitting in a car when they were killed.

So far, police have not made any arrests in the case.

The men's families gathered to honor their memories and pray for an end to violence.

"They didn't just kill my son. They killed a whole family. I just don't know what the world is coming to, but we need change," said Roman Herring's father, Kenneth Herring.

Anyone with information on the men's deaths should contact Pittsburgh police.
