Police: 14 street, mid-level heroin dealers arrested in McKees Rocks

MCKEES ROCKS, Pa. — Officials from McKees Rocks police, Stowe Township police, parole agents and Allegheny County probation agents arrested 14 street and mid-level heroin dealers operating in McKees Rocks Friday.

Investigators said the arrests were the result of an investigation involving McKees Rocks police and the District Attorney's drug enforcement team over the past six months.

“These are drug dealers that residents see in action and infuriate residents. They make them feel like the streets aren’t safe, and we’re doing our part to clean the streets up,” McKees Rocks Police Chief Robert Cifrulak said.

All of the men and women were arraigned in McKees Rocks district court Friday morning.

“I hope it sends out a strong message. I hope residents see the effort here by officers and detectives,” Cifrulak said.
