SUMMIT TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Two children were airlifted to an area hospital Friday after getting hit by a car in Summit Township.
According to police, the boy and girl were crossing Freeport Road after getting their mail around 4 p.m. when they were hit.
Investigators said the driver was not speeding at the time and the incident remains under investigation.
The kids’ ages and conditions have not been released.
