PITTSBURGH - Two local teens are recovering Monday after a savage weekend beating in Carrick.
The incident happened Saturday morning when a 19-year-old and 17-year-old were walking home near the intersection of Duffland and Haseldell streets.
The mother of one of the victims told Channel 11 News that her son knew some of his attackers.
Police said the group of about seven men attacked the pair with baseballs bats.
“A lot of head injuries, staples, stitches to the head, mouth…, eyes also. Markings of bats on their bodies,” said one victim’s mother.
Police continue to investigate. So far, no arrests have been made.
