WESTMORELAND COUNTY, Pa. — A 27-year-old woman was killed and another was hurt in a three-car crash in Westmoreland County early Wednesday morning.

Police said the accident happened on Route 30 near the entrance to the Westmoreland Mall about 2 a.m.

Channel 11's news exchange partners at TribLIVE reported that Tiffany Alcorn died Wednesday morning at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

Police said Alcorn, who wasn’t wearing a seat belt, was driving the wrong way in the westbound lanes when the crash happened.

Investigators said two other cars collided with Alcorn’s. One of the drivers was flown to a Pittsburgh-area hospital with life-threatening injuries. The third driver wasn’t injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
