CARNEGIE, Pa. - A serious crash involving two tractor-trailers early Tuesday morning shut down the Parkway West in Scott Township.
Authorities said two tractor-trailers collided just after 12:30 a.m. near the Carnegie exit.
Emergency crews said two people were taken to area hospitals with serious injuries, but their names and conditions have not been released.
The outbound lanes of the Parkway West were closed for a few hours while crews worked to clear the scene and investigate. All lanes have since reopened.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
