PITTSBURGH - Two women were struck by a vehicle while walking a dog in Greenfield Saturday morning.
The pedestrian accident happened about 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Murray Avenue and Lilac Street.
Investigators said the driver of the vehicle was turning onto Lilac Street when the accident happened.
A parked car was also hit when the driver swerved in an attempt to avoid the women and the dog, officials said.
Both women were taken to UPMC Presbyterian to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The dog was killed.
