2 to trial in drug-related slaying of Ambridge woman

AMBRIDGE, Pa. — Two men have been ordered to stand trial on charges they murdered a pregnant western Pennsylvania woman when they went to rob her drug-dealing boyfriend.

Thirty-one-year-old Tyrone Fuller, of McKeesport, and 27-year-old Marlin Kelly, of Pittsburgh, were ordered to trial on criminal homicide and other charges after a preliminary hearing Thursday into the death of 19-year-old Conekia Finney.

Authorities say she was gunned down when she answered the door as the men arrived to rob her boyfriend. A heroin addict testified he drove the men to the apartment building so they could rob Finney's boyfriend, who police say was sleeping when she was shot in their Ambridge apartment about 8 p.m. Oct. 28.

Finney was about seven months pregnant and her unborn child died as well.
