WHITE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Two former workers are accused of stealing more than $16,000 from the Indiana County Lowe’s they worked at.

According to police, 21-year-olds Joseph Chunkala and David Cochran stole $16,349 from the Lowe’s on Ben Franklin Road in White Township between February and May.

State police said the men made several dozen fake receipts for returned merchandise and exchanged the receipts for cash.

Chunkala and Chochran are facing charges of theft by unlawful taking. They face a preliminary hearing Saturday.
