$24K in cash, $10K in jewelry stolen from Plum home

PLUM, Pa. — Authorities in Plum are investigating after more than $34,000 in cash and jewelry was stolen from a safe inside a home.

According to Plum Police Chief Frank Monaco, $24,000 in cash and about $10,000 worth of diamond jewelry was stolen from the safe inside a home on Carriage Boulevard.

Monaco said no other thefts have been reported in the area, and he believes this was an isolated incident.

Anyone with information on the theft is asked to contact police.
